GOOGLE’S MODULAR ARA SMARTPHONE
Google’s project Ara is the talk of every town at the moment. Well, at least among the tech freaks. The concept behind Project Ara will alter the general outlook towards smartphones in its entirety. In the existing trend, the consumer doesn’t have much of a say in the configuration of the phone. Project Ara plans to change that by implementing an open hardware platformwhich will include a structural frame that will hold modules of the owner’s choice. So the consumer can modify the display, the camera and other modules according to their own requirements. The first Ara phone is rumored to be slated for release in January 2015.

The grapevine has it that Apple is planning to drop the ‘S’ and ‘C’ naming trend and call the next one iPhone7. The smartphone will have a Sapphire glass display- the same one used in iWatch. Also, it could feature the 3D Display which was supposed to come out in the iPhone6. The configuration will be based on Apple A9 processors which uses the 14 nanometer technology. Not to be left behind in the Image Capturing field, iPhone 7 will display a major leap in the area. If the rumors are to be believed, it will have a two-lens system that will enable DSLR level image capturing.
SONY XPERIA Z4
Sony is supposedly discarding its ‘2 flagship handsets a year’ approach and instead releasing a single one. Granted, it’s in two varieties- the full HD display and the QHD Display. The Xperia Z4 has got a lot of punch to it if the specifications are to be believed. According to a set of leaked images from the Sony Database, the Z4 will have, in addition to a 5.2-inch QHD display, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 805 processor as well as the latest Android OS (Lollipop). This the major reason for Xiaomi’s rise from nothing to stardom in a matter of four years.
