On 8th March, Bangalore got it’s nightlife when the deadline was extended from 11:30 PM to 1 AM. Restaurants and eateries can now stay open till 1 AM on all days while bars and pubs are allowed to stay open till 1 AM only on Fridays and Saturdays as of now. We took a ride in the streets of Koramangala between 12 AM and 1 AM to bring you this list of restaurants and cafes that open till 1 AM:
1. Mad Over Donuts (MOD)
MOD has some good donuts and beverages. We found this a great place to get dessert late night.
Landmark: Opposite Forum Mall (Bosch side)
2. Cafe Coffee Day (CCD)
India’s favorite coffee shop is now open till 1 AM in Bangalore. This is the one at the petrol pump next to A2B. We found the other outlets of CCD in Koramangala were closed.
Landmark: At the petrol pump between Starbucks and A2B.
3. California Pizza Kitchen (CPK)
You can get the authentic California-style cuisine till 1 AM in Koramangala.
Landmark: Below Black Pearl, Opposite Meghana Foods. Just before the next item on this list.
4. Hotel Empire
Nothing new about this one. Empire was the only place in Bangalore to open till late even before the extension of the deadline to 1 AM. A good place for non-vegetarians.
Landmark: Between CPK and McDonald’s.
5. Java City
Re-discover yourself at Java City, which also stays open till 1 AM now.
Landmark: Opposite Nagarjuna, Next to Kobe.
