Welcome to the Is It Legit Directory — every website we have checked, in one place. Type a name into the checker above, browse by category, or scan the full A–Z list. Every listing carries our verdict and links to the full review, and verdicts are re-checked as sites change their fees, policies, and ownership.
How to read the verdicts: LEGIT = safe to use RISKY = usable with serious precautions AVOID = not worth the risk, better alternatives exist
Streaming & Movies
AVOID Cataz: Is It Safe and Legal to Stream Movies in 2026?
The original Cataz is gone — what remains are untrustworthy clones. It was never legal or safe to begin with. Free, legal upgrades: Tubi, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Plex, Kanopy, and Hoopla.
AVOID WatchMoviesHD: Is It Safe and Legal to Stream Movies in 2026?
No licenses, no accountable operator, a young unstable domain, rock-bottom trust scores, and an ad model that profits from your misclicks. Tubi, Pluto TV, and Kanopy offer the same movies free and legal.
Gaming
AVOID IGG Games Review: Is IGG Games Safe or Legit in 2026?
A piracy link site with malware exposure, ISP-notice risk, and zero accountability. Epic’s weekly free games, Steam sales, GOG, and Humble Bundle build a legal library for very little money instead.
Reading & Manga
RISKY Is Manganato Safe and Legit to Read Manga Online?
Usable only with serious precautions: updated security software, caution around download links, verified site authenticity, and no public Wi-Fi. Your safety depends more on your own vigilance than on the site.
Ticketing
Comparing ticket sellers specifically? See Are Ticket Sites Legit? — every ticketing verdict, fee breakdown, and buying-safety rule in one place.
LEGIT Is AXS Legit?
AXS is AEG’s real ticketing platform — the official seller for Coachella, Red Rocks, and the LA28 Olympics. Legitimate, but expect high fees, app-only Mobile ID tickets, and a strict no-refunds policy.
LEGIT Is Tixr Legit?
Tixr is a BBB-accredited (A+) primary ticketing platform used by festivals and nightclubs, with decent buyer reviews. Fees vary by event and there’s no real resale marketplace — buy only from the event’s official Tixr page.
Marketplaces & Resale
LEGIT Is Whatnot Legit?
A real live-shopping platform where verified sellers auction products on live video. Bids are binding and sales are final by default — buyer protection covers wrong, damaged, and counterfeit items, so set a hard price limit before you bid.
LEGIT Is Vinted Legit in the US?
Europe’s biggest secondhand fashion marketplace, officially launched in the US in January 2026. Sellers pay no fees and buyers get protection for lost, damaged, or misdescribed items — but you have only 2 days after delivery to report a problem before your money is released to the seller.
