Want to download an archive of all your tweets since your first one? Well, Twitter has an option that let’s you download your tweet archive and many people seem to have missed the option:
Step 1: Go to the Settings under the gear icon on the top right corner.
Step 2: Scroll down and click on “Request your archive” under the “Content” section.
Once you request your Twitter archive, you will get a mail with the download link to your archive. Also, after requesting your archive once, there is a waiting period before you can request the download link again.
Once you get the download link, extract all files in the archive to a folder and open the “index” file. The index with list all your tweets by month and year. A preview of Durofy’s Twitter archive for the month of October 2013 is shown below:
