This day of celebration dates back to 1935 when the US Congress proclaimed the first Sunday in August as Friendship Day. Unfortunately, it has now become more of a commercial day, and friends have become names on contact lists, greetings have become messages and love has become symbols on WhatsApp. This friendship day let’s break all barriers and celebrate friendship old school style!
This is the ideal day to spend some quality time with your buddies, who’ve been with you through thick and thin.
