The party season is on and you are already all pumped up and ready to go rock every gathering you are invited to. Especially if it’s that time of year when the sun appears a lot brighter and the scorching summer days suck all the energy out of you, and your sweat gains to potential to literally drip, a shower before going to any party is mandatory. Even if it’s winter; who does not likes a person that looks all fresh and clean? Long story short, get a shower before you go to a party, you might not like to adore yourself with the deadly combination of sweat and deodorant.
Next thing is to work on the tiny details
Trust me, every little detail counts! A moisturized face instead of flaky cheeks, dirty nails instead of clean ones, flaky lips with or without lipstick is a big no! Or simply shoes covered up in mud and dirt. The list is a long one, which very clearly suggests you need to start getting ready a bit early before the time you are supposed to leave for the party. Let your skin breathe. For god’s sake keep your accessories ready and presentable. These little things add a lot to your impression.
Now is the time for picking up a suitable outfit
Remember, every party is of a different kind. Now you can’t suit up to a dance party unless you are Barney Stinson, and go in your t-shirt to a business purpose gathering. Sun dress to a nightclub? Yes, that dress looks pretty, but save it for a sunny day beside the sea, no one can see those bright colors in these lights. The trick is to pick an outfit that fits the occasion. And second thing to keep in mind while picking an outfit is to see if it brings out your personality. There are different individuals with different body types. I suggest managing your wardrobe according to your personality. Your dress plays a major role in reflecting your personality. A sharply dressed individual always looks attractive enough to make a long lasting impact.
Let the fragrance spread
Let’s face the obvious truth; a person who smells good definitely attracts people. Yes, probably not in the way they show in our advertisement companies, but we all know that it’s good to hang around someone that smells fresh. While on the other hand a bad odor is a big turnoff. Isn’t it why we took a shower at the first place? Probably you don’t need a deodorant or perfume generally, but who knows whenand how a party could turn up into a big crowd entertaining event, where you won’t even feel that cool AC air.
Work on your personality
This one goes for during the party too. It’s being confident. No accessory is better than a confident smile. Be comfortable in your own skin. Have a positive and cheerful personality, because just like a bad influence, a positive environment is infectious too. No one likes to hang around with a hot headed gloomy faced person. Let your positivity flow out, trust me, it’ll attract the crowd like flower attracts bees!
Be sure to check all your emergency belongings
Phone, some cash, your keys, if there is an invitation card, then definitely that! Make sure to carry them safely so you don’t lose them at the party. On rare occasions you might find your phone in one piece on the dance floor. In even rarer cases you’ll find your phone and cash at all! Besides leaving the house without these is a bad idea. You never know when you may come across a serial killer with saw in his hands and need to use that never used emergency call option, or get stuck up on way and need to catch a taxi or any other means to get back home.
This one is for the ladies.Don’t go with a no makeup look
It’s a party. Even a lipstick and little touch up would do. Going with too much of makeup is a bad idea too. First, it doesn’t really look all that attractive and second, you’ll need a regular touch up or else you’ll end up like a ghost.
Now the last point, prepare yourself for the party earlier than you usually do
DO CHECK all your belongings if you are in a rush, and in case you don’t have enough time to go through all of this, the least you can do is look presentable. Wash your face. Change your clothes, smell good, and most importantly have a warm smile on your face.
