We don’t post news on Durofy very often. But this is one news you don’t hear very often. Microsoft has changed its logo (August 23, 2012) after 25 years of the bold-italics versions of its boring logos. People have various comments on the new logo. Some find it beautiful, some find it boring.
It’s much better than the previous logos. The symbol has four colored squares along with Microsoft written in plain simple grey letters. The squares are inspired by the Windows symbol.
The color combinations of the squares look beautiful. Though I personally believe that another font color for Microsoft would be better as grey makes it look dull. In case this interests you – the colors (hex) are F35123, 7FBA00, 01A4EF & FFB901. While Microsoft font color is 757575.

According to me, It was a very good idea to add colors. However, grey was not the perfect choice for the font color. Let me know what you think of the new logo. Do share your views.
