Administration console is an application in the informatica tool which is used get access details to used for managing the power center domain.
Power Center Client
Power center client consists of various applications that can be used for different purposes.
Designer
Designer is used to create mappings and mapplets. Mapping is the flow of data from source to target while mapplets consist of set of transformations that can be used in mappings.
Repository Manager
Repository manager is helpful for creating users and groups in the repository and providing access details to them.
Workflow Manager
Workflow manager can be used to create and run workflows. Workflows can also be scheduled on a particular data and time.
Workflow Monitor
Workflow monitor is used for monitoring the scheduled workflow.
Transformations
Transformation is an operation like performing calculations on a particular mapping.There are different kinds of transformations viz. lookup transformation, joiner transformation, normalizer transformation, tranquilizer transformation, sorter transformation and many more.
